FAQ
Where will the fields be located?
Answer: Most of our Fields will be located in the Fort Bend ISD area. All of these fields are secured Middle or High School regulation fields complete with score boards, bleachers, concession stand and clean restrooms.
What is the cost of the Tournament?
Answer: Costs of the Tournament will be $10.00 Per Coach Fee, $37.00 Player Fee (min. 20 Players). All fees due by November 9 , 2011 or sooner. We do accept all major credit cards so this can be secured over the phone or online. This secures your spot in our event and allows us to put out bracket early. Your full registration packet will be due by November 23, 2011.(no exceptions) This should include all documents associated with the Registration Packet. (all fees non-refundable).
Will all our games be at one location?
Answer: No. Even though Houston, Texas is known to have some of the best Football Players in the Country, there is not a venue in the greater metropolitan area that has multiple football fields available to hosts an event of this size. We have secured fields within Fort Bend ISD which is located on the Southwest side of Houston. We will keep all age group divisions between two fields. You will have a Winners field and a Consolation Field. If you lose, your team will finish out their games on the Consolation field. Bottom line, if you are winning, you stay on the Winners Field. If you lose, you travel to the Consolation Field. None of these fields are farther than 20 minutes a part.
Do you have discounted Hotel Rates?
Answer: Yes. Our Host Hotel will be the TBD. We have more than 300 rooms reserved at this Hotel. At this Hotel, we will also have a Information Desk set up during the tournament that will have up to date brackets and scores from all games. We have also secured 250 other Hotel rooms within a two-mile radius of the TBD with room rates between $78.00 to $89.00 per night (breakfast depending on hotel). Most of these rooms reserved are double beds. Your team Representative will be responsible for booking your teams block of rooms directly with the Hotel. We have a list of preferred Hotels listed on our website. Book early, rooms go quick. Team and parents must stay at hosting hotels to get discounted player fee. (no exceptions)
Do you have discounted Car Rental Rates?
Answer: Yes. We have set up discounted rates with HERTZ Car Rentals. Just mention KING Classic. We have also alerted CAPPS VAN Rentals at both the Hobby Airport Locations and IAH Locations about our out of town teams. What are the Rules of the Tournament?
Answer: See Packet
What are the Divisions?
Answer: We will have five (5) Divisions: 6U Flag, 8U Tackle, 10U Tackle, 12U Tackle & 14U Tackle. Rules for each Division are detailed in the registration packet.
How many Referees will you have per game?
Answer: For the Flag games, we will two referees per game. For all other games, there will be three referees governing the games. All Referees are TASBO certified.
What time is team check-in for the event?
Answer: Check in for all teams will take place at the TBD. Check in time starts at 5:30 PM and will conclude 10:00 PM.Head Coach will have his schedule time to arrive.(Team must all arrive together in order to weigh-in). We will not have time to check teams in on Saturday morning. Games begin promptly at 8:30 am
When do we play our games?
Answer: All gamess will be played on Saturday and Sunday. Your game times may vary and could be between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm. Game schedules will be determined upon close of the tournament registration. You will receive a tournament schedule, showing times you play and opposing teams at team weigh-in.

Answer: All 1st place winners from this years tournament will receive:
1) Custom 1st Place Cup-Trophy
2) Player Individual Trophy
3) Championship T-Shirts
4) Player Fee Waived per player for the 2013 KING Classic Tournament
5) Coaches(5max.) Fee Waived for the 2013 King Classic Tournament
